Nextora Mini POS is designed from the ground up as an offline-first commercial billing solution. We believe merchants should retain full ownership and control of their everyday commercial records.

1. Fundamental Architecture: Local Data vs. Transmitted Data

To provide full transparency, we strictly distinguish between two categories of information:

• Data Stored Locally on Your Device: All everyday operational billing data — item catalogs, menus, pricing, customer bills, transaction logs, sales summaries, and printer configurations — is stored exclusively in your device's local application database. This data is never transmitted to Nextora servers, cloud platforms, or third parties.
• Data Transmitted to Nextora / Network Services: Only minimal technical information necessary for software licensing verification, annual license renewal, in-app software update checks, and customer-initiated website inquiries is ever transmitted over the network.

2. Information Handled by the Applications

A. Operational Business & Billing Data (Stored Locally Only)

When you configure and use Nextora Mini POS, you may enter:

• Business Profile Information: Business name, store address, contact telephone, tax identifier (e.g. GST number), and custom header/footer messages for receipts.
• Catalog & Item Records: Item names, categories, pricing, unit of measure, and active inventory status.
• Billing & Transaction Details: Sequenced bill/invoice numbers, date and timestamps, line items purchased, subtotal, tax amount, discounts, payment mode (Cash, UPI, Card), and order status.
• Optional Customer Contact on Bills: If your counter workflow records a customer name or mobile number on a receipt, this entry resides solely inside the local bill record on your device.

Storage location: This information is stored in an encrypted/sandboxed SQLite or local data file within your operating system's private application directory. Nextora has no access to your sales numbers, customer contacts, or catalog data.

B. Device Information & Licensing Identifier (Transmitted for License Validation)

Nextora Mini POS is licensed on an annual subscription basis per device. To activate and bind your annual license key to your hardware, the application transmits:

• License Activation Key: The alphanumeric key provided upon purchase or trial issuance.
• Device Hardware Identifier: A non-reversible cryptographic hash derived from hardware identifiers (such as Android ID on Android or motherboard/OS GUID on Windows) used solely to prevent unauthorized activation across multiple devices.
• Application Metadata: App version, operating system version, and activation timestamp.

This technical validation occurs during initial setup and periodic license status checks. It does not contain any operational billing or customer data.

C. Backup Files

Nextora Mini POS provides a manual database backup export tool. Backups are exported as local archive files to a directory or storage drive selected by the user. You own and control these files. We strongly recommend storing backup files securely.

D. Hardware & Printer Connections

Nextora Mini POS connects to thermal receipt printers:

• Android (Bluetooth Printing): Requires Android Bluetooth permissions (`BLUETOOTH_CONNECT`, `BLUETOOTH_SCAN`) strictly to discover and transmit raw ESC/POS commands directly to your paired thermal printer. No data leaves the local Bluetooth connection.
• Android (Wi-Fi / Network Printing): Requires local network permissions strictly to transmit print jobs to the IP address of your receipt printer on your local Wi-Fi router.
• Windows Desktop (USB / Serial Printing): Communicates directly with local COM, USB, or Windows spooler ports. No print data is routed outside your PC.

E. Network Communication

The applications connect to the internet only for the following explicit operations:

1. One-time annual license activation and periodic license validity verification.
2. Checking our update server to notify you if an updated software build or security patch is available.
3. User-initiated technical support or error report transmissions, if explicitly triggered.

Daily billing, checkout, menu management, and receipt printing operate entirely offline without requiring any active internet connection.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

• No Ad Networks: Nextora Mini POS does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, in-app advertisements, or marketing trackers.
• No Third-Party Analytics in App: The mobile and desktop billing applications do not run behavioral analytics or telemetry SDKs.
• No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your data to third parties.

4. Information Handled on Our Website (pos.nextoracreations.co.in)

• Inquiry & Demo Forms: If you submit our contact or pricing request form, we collect the details you enter (your name, email address, phone number, and message). This data is securely posted to our enterprise lead intake endpoint (Google Apps Script) solely to allow our team to answer your commercial inquiry.
• Analytics & Server Logs: Standard web server access logs (IP address, user-agent, pages requested) are recorded for security and DDoS defense. If aggregated web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) is configured, it records anonymous pageview traffic on the website only — never from inside the billing apps.
• Cookies: This website does not use tracking cookies for advertising. Essential session cookies may be used if technical features require them.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Local Application Data: Retained on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete records within the app, clear application storage via system settings, or uninstall Nextora Mini POS.
• Server Licensing Records: Maintained for the duration of your active license and as required by Indian commercial, tax, and accounting statutory obligations.
• Contact Submissions: Retained while actively corresponding with you. You may request deletion of your inquiry contact details at any time by emailing us.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical safeguards across our services. However, because operational billing records reside on your physical hardware, overall data protection depends largely on device-level security. We advise all merchants to:

• Protect devices with screen passcodes, PINs, or biometric locks.
• Enable device storage encryption.
• Regularly export and store backup files on separate physical or cloud storage you control.

Please note that no hardware, electronic storage, or transmission channel can be guaranteed to be 100% immune from security vulnerabilities, and we do not make claims of absolute infallibility.

Nextora Mini POS is commercial point-of-sale software designed for commercial businesses, stores, and restaurants. It is not marketed to or intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).
